In celebrating National Wildlife Week the Jack Miner Bird Santuary is sponsering it's annual waterfowl taxidermy competition on April 12 and 13 ,2014.The santuary is located on the north shore of Lake Erie near the town of Kingsville,Ontario and will serve as the competition site.Reaching it is a thirty five minute drive from the Detroit/Windsor border crossing. Cash prizes of $500,$250 and $100 will be awarded to those pieces judged to be worthy of 1st,2nd and 3rd place rankings. A prestigeous trophy will bear the name of the first place winner and will be on public display year round.
