removing envirotex

    A customer of mine has a musky that he wants repainted only problem is has a thick coat of what looks like envirotex on it. I tried paint stripper it did nothing to it. Any suggestions would be appreciated

    Enviro-Tex ain't coming off. Sand it lightly, use a white primer, and paint from there. I have used aerosol Kilz on top of old fish, but it goes on thick and you lose a lot of scale detail. Either way, you are attempting to "make a silk purse out of a sow's ear" when repainting an old fish. Hope yours is a success!
