To all the people that use Romans 555 as hide paste can you use it with dry preservative?

I never tried it with Dp. It was designed for vinyl over vinyl so the directions will not state something it wasn't intended for. To answer your question, I would try it on a piece of DP'd hide and see what it does.

I used it with dry preserve for a while but I always seemed to get some curdling. I now use a clay based paste with my dp.

Try Roman 880. Get it at Sherwin Williams for around $55.00 for 5 gallon size or about $16.00 for a gallon. Been using it for 6 months now. works great with DP.
