    Thanks everyone for all the compliments on my otter. Had the idea of doing this mount for a while but wasn't sure about the water. After reading the post "Obsessed with huge water waves/splashes" I decided to give it a try. The ripples were modeled with clay around the otter then I made a rubber mold from the clay. I used clear casting resin for the water and added some transparent paints to the underside.

  12. Went to the PTA competition yesterday learned alot and had lots of fun.So I mounted a squirrel today and improved on what the judge told me on my previous mounts.And did better.

    Absolutely amazing mount. Very inspiring to aspiring mammal taxidermist hobbyist such as myself. Thanks for posting. I love this mount.
