First Javelina Mount

Discussion in 'Deer and Gameheads' started by Rackmastr, Mar 9, 2014.

  1. Hey Guys,

Thought I'd share this cool critter I just finished. This is an Arizona javelina I just mounted for a buddy of mine. This is a McKenzie cast lip system and the first time I've ever done anything open mouth before. I think it turned out pretty well and gave me some good learning experiences along the way! Pretty cool little critter to work on!!

Feel free to post any comments, suggestions, etc.

Next up is a big Mountain caribou!

BO-N-ARO Hunt hard but hunt safe!

Very nice work! Love working on these guys...NO sewing!!
One thing I noticed is the inner mouth and lip color, here in Texes, would be more creamy color.

A little heavier on the top brow will make a world of difference, the hair on the top of thr head should stand straight up and I would use more pink septum color paint all the way out of the the nose almost to the outer edges of that nose. Heck sometimes they are almost white.
