After mink was tanned, using krowtan, fur color come out lighter than it started. I thought it was just cause it was still damp, After it dried it seemed to have faded a lot. No clue as to why, I thought the directions were being followed, something went wrong. How after the critter has dried, how can I bring back the darker look, it's a good hide paste to glue it. I know if I was to try removing skin it would be junk. Customers critter, I'm sure painting is not going to work.
Any ideas would a great help.

  2. I dyed a bear with hair dye that faded out by the sun. You might try that.
