Any computer gurus?

    OK ,so power went off yesterday and computer was on battery backup.I told it to shut computer off ,but apparently it didn't.Go to turn on computer this morning and can't get windows to open :-\ Keeps sending me back to the black screen with safe mode, start windows normally, and whatnot.Google hasn't been much help either.Any ideas?

    I have had this happen before. Did you try and restart windows? If it doesnt allow you too you can always hold the power button down and it will shut down the machine, then turn it back on and it should work.
