Hello all. I just took in a woodcock for a client. Its only the second woodcock I've ever taken in. Being in idaho we don't get many come though the doors. The bird is banded and the client wants to show that. He is leaning towards a flying mount. Just wondering if any of you guys that do a few of them have any good ideas for a pose?

    Thanks

  2. Whats going on Steve, we kill a bunch of them wood cocks down here in South Louisiana we call them timber doodles lol. We have a few come through the shop I always mount the flying ones doing something stupid thats how they look in real life hunting them. You can google flying wood cocks and they have a bunch of live photos. Give me a call one day when you get a chance?
