Pyrography on Mushrooms

    This is some of my husband's artwork, the medium he is locally known for is pyrography (burning) on this particular type of mushroom.

    Cool! I don't know anything about pyrography, but can you do that on leather? that would look nice on the back of a shoulder mount.

    I have done this only drawing the scene with a nail. It leaves brown lines like yours.

    We always called them konks, but I have heard of them being called shelf mushrooms.
