GSTA Hands on Whitetail Deer and Gameheads Hands on Workshop - May 2014

    The GSTA Board of Directors will be hosting a 1-day, information-packed, hands on whitetail deer and gameheads seminar on May 4, 2014. Each participant will bring his or her own prepped cape, form, mounting stand and supplies needed to complete the mount. Several instructors will be present, and will complete their own mount among the class to provide a step by step approach to all questions, answers and hands-on guidance.

    Instruction will be provided by members of the GSTA BOD and will include proper skin and form prep, eye and earbutt setting, nose detail, reading hair patterns and general reference study. Instructors will include:

    Fred Barilla - Whitetail Deer
    Steve Hackett - Black bear shoulder
    Mark Van Leuven - Coyote shoulder mount

    The cost of the seminar is $150 and will include a pizza lunch. Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase a GSTA membership at a discounted rate.
