Is there any way to make a piece of driftwood look really fancy and to make it shine out a little. I will add this to the habitat section to.

Just spray it with multiple coats of a gloss. The wood will soak the first few coats but then it will darken and become more shiny. For an Artsy look you can pait it metalic if that is the route you want.

    Rub it with an antler.

Seriously! Or you can get almost the same effect by rubbing it with a smooth piece of metal or stone or whatever you might have laying around.

  4. How about take some copper foil and pound it around it.

  5. First pressure wash it to get to the smooth core, it cleans and smooths. Then let dry out completely. If your wanting a high gloss look paint envirotex light on it and let setup.

Again for artsy uniqueness copper spray paint etc.
