Does anyone compete with whitetails ears forward.... haven't seen any lately?

    I like to see some comp pieces ears forward and wondered why hardly anybody competes that way.

    Just as ears forward is seen as "same old/same old", ears back will sooner or later be seen the same way...then ears forward will be the trendy "new" look.

    I don't compete but I like ears forward and use it whenever I can.

    You will see a lot of---one forward, one back. This gets you away from being 'hit' for symmetry problems.
