Discussion in 'Lifesize Mammals' started by code6202, Aug 4, 2014.

  1. August!

Mammals of the Month is a critique-free thread made for posting and sharing your finished mammal mounts.

Here is a link to a tutorial on posting photos using photobucket (just in case you've always wanted to post but never knew how).

Great Bobcats! WOW. Amy I LOVE your marten mount, great pose.
From me just a Fox (my first to hang on a wall).
It had the shot in the back of it's head and the front of it's throat was ripped open wide.
Fortunately the pose helped with stitching it back together. ;D

Wrapped body and carved head. First fox as a dead mount (for me anyway). ;D
My new favourite pose but it needs a lot of space an the wall, this fox was huge.

A work in progress...the base won't be complete until I get a the right pieces of driftwood...A red fox will also be included in the scene...thus the cub is looking slightly down and right. This is a 2-3 yr old brown bear cub mounted on a black bear form, with a 'resized' grizzly head and some form alterations. Hopefully in a couple of months I will have the entire piece completed. But so far it has been a fun project.

Lizardfeathers Thank you for teaching me through your works...

Lionhead domestic rabbit. Just a big puff ball! The ears are laid back, but the weird lighting doesn't quite do it justice...

    Better pictures...
