I am looking for a Porbeagle shark blank, pretty much any size considered.
I know Rick Hardy has a couple but unfortunately they are the wrong shape for my needs. (so much so it would not be worth my while altering them).
    Thanks

  2. How about using a salmon shark blank and painting it as a porbeagle. very similar is shape and facial features. here's a link to one

  3. you could also try to find a mako blank in the shape your looking for and do some mods to the snout and dorsal

Thanks, I shall look into both these options. I have seen Big Rivers web site Mike and it looks great. I need to improve my shark anatomy and ID I think !
    thanks

    John,
You might check Envision3d's website. He has a lot of oddball stuff on there from all the exhibit work he does. As you probably know, great guy to deal with too.

I would go for the salmon shark blank. Porbeagles are much stockier than makos. Our porbeagles in Maine will weigh 20% to as much as 50% more than a mako of the same length.
