I have been doing birds for several years now and do an occasional mammal or three each year. I went to Idaho earlier this year and scored on 2 nice chocolate phase bear. When looking at what I wanted to do with them, I ran across this and my mind was made up this is what I had to do (with slight modifications).

So while waiting for my skins to come back from the tannery, I started to work on the other aspects of the mount. I ordered all my fish stuff and hope to get the first repro under my belt soon. I have watched this DVD about 6 times now and have been stalking the fish forums for some time now. Damn it's expensive to start to do fish!!! Hope to make a little progress this weekend on my first trout. Guess I could have picked a harder species to start with huh? lol

This repro is only 13.5" and damn those scales are small! :-\ Thank god for the opti-visor!

    Wish you luck?
If you put the time in it you will do great
I see so many times people compete and put only 10% more time than commercial mounts, and expect a blue.......?
    Think again
    You can do it
If you did succeeded so far, then a lot of time patients and belief
    You will do fine
    Good luck
    You don't need it
    Just kick butt
