    After I ordered and got the clear coat I thought I desparately needed I found an untouched quart of the other stuff sitting on the shelf! Still using that! Getting old again!

  2. The caulk I have used takes longer to cure. If you put DAP or similar in the belly to fill out a nice rounded prespawn look the fish will dry and distort the shape if the caulk is not fully cured. I fill it with scilicone to prevent that from happening. The scilicone will cure before the fish dries. It can still be smoothed out through the skin to get the shape you want. The easiest place to put it is back up the vent either through a surgical tube on a syringe or strait from the tube if the vent it big enough.
