BOTW#41

Hello birdlovers!
It was a very interesting week full of excellent work and beautiful birds. Let's continue this week with pictures of your work. It doesn't matter if you are a professional or a starter in birds, I want to see them all the same. You can also post pics of restoration projects of yours.
I have no finished birds right now, so I will start this BOTW with a few older mounts from me.

What a great start of my second week of BOTW!
OFF: I love the gadwall, it really alive and very well groomed. The landing goose is also a amazing piece of work. A question, is the sparrowhawk a young female? The goose gamehead also looks interesting. The little owl is also a nice Mount.
Adam M. Clossin: Very nice parakeet, they are not easy to do, yours looks like it is deciding if it is OK to fly away now. The composition with the ladder is also very fragile looking. (in a good, aesthetically pleasing way)
Please keep the birds flying, hehe

FF/Birdman: I love your redhead drake, it looks like it is searching for the best landing place, nice, clean mount.
popeandyoung: I love seeing your progress, I would not have seen the unpainted toenails ;D good looking ducks.
Jay Parke: my favourite partridge, good looking mount, as always with your work.
stuffit44: cool flying pose on that pheasant, it has my "like button"
Wingman: WOW! never seen a piebald bird like that. just wow. the goose looks so alive, I can't believe it, super clean Mount and perfect pose.
BK Taxidermy: love the idea with the lying deadmount, nice clean ducks.
There are no new birds from me, because I struggle around with my first mouflon sheep head mount. :
let's keep the bird pictures flowing in.

I would also be very happy if the woman out there lurking would join us here. There must be more woman doing bird taxidermy out there, right???? Don't be shy we don't bite, we just peck, he he ;D

Hello to all! I was gone one day and see what came in...
KMA: looooove the woody, it sure has a big head. Oops that sounds a bit bad. ;D
ntxwaterfowl: that mallard looks great, very clean looking mount. I will try this pose on one of my personal ducks next time.
Jordanlyback: very interesting blue grouse, never seen one. I mounted a spruce grouse once, seem to be related...
the widgeon's are super cool birds, I wish I could get one of those :'( The bufflehead is a nice mount too, they look as if they are not easy to do, nice flying pose.

OK. my week of hosting BOTW is over now and I want to thank all who posted their incredible work this week.
It was a slow week but that doesn't matter, it was a good week to. ;D
Next host will be the friendly Mr. Jay Parke aka idbatman. please post your work for him too because every host is happy when he/she gets lots of beautiful pictures of your work. ;D
