Best solvent for dry cleaning

    So I have a yote that I appear to have hit a little heavy with the leather oil. It doesn't look like it is going to absorb any more and is too oily to work (edges dried but the middle refuses). I was thinking the sawdust / solvent dry cleaning trick might help remove some. What is the best solvent to use. I did some searching.....

    A big garbage bag with sawdust and some paint thinner will do fine. Shake it around in there for 20 min.

    So can I get the same results by using the moistened sawdust locally? Without using the bag, and applying by hand to only the oily areas of the skin side therefore eliminating having to clean the fur? Figured it might be worth a shot.

    You can get the results you're looking for by FOLLOWING THE ADVISE OF A MASTER TAXIDERMIST!! Good luck.
