Am looking for different ideas for set ups. My shop area is less than 120sq ft, so am very limited on floor space.

Looking for photos/ideas of setups of those whom tan their own hides. 55 gallon drums are totally out of the question, and 5 gallon buckets seem very impractical. As of right now, the largest of critters going thru will be whitetail.

Just needing some help thinking outside of the box. Can be stacked or whatever when not in use, mobile would be great.
Right now I have a table I salt on, but would like to get something suspended. Right now I have 3 racoons and 2 yotes that are drying. Wanting to get these guys to the next phase and out of the way.

    Feel free to post pics!!!!

The school I went to use a series of 55 gallon drums, love the idea........maybe someday. I do have a drain in the corner of the room.

This is what we do for thawing& salting. Pickling is done In 25 gal Rubbermaid containers from the feed store that can be stored outside when not in use. We use a rub on tan, so we just lay them on a piece of plywood, tan and then fold up and put in a plastic sack overnight.

Check out the cape saver tanning machine, it takes up 8 sq ft and will eliminate the salt table for anything you want o tan

    Thanks Cyclone.
I went out to the barn and found some mineral tubs, that didn't have any cracks. They are for 250# of mineral and about the same size as the muck buckets, minus the handles.
