WTH? I guess I need to get out more!! LOL When did this happen?

Thank You all. I'm ready. Lets rock this place. I am truly excited with the direction the NTA is headed. I've spoken to many of the newly elected board members whom all are ready to get busy.

The NTA has made some great strides over the last couple of years, but the past 6 months has been epic in setting the NTA on a new course.

Everything from the bylaws to how the NTA functions has been reworked with much more to come.

I think the taxidermy community at large is excited to see the NTA make a return to happier times.

The new website has already proven to be a useful tool with new members joining regularly.

Vendors are starting to make their plans to be at the convention in Gatlinburg.

Prize money sponsors are jumping on board making donations towards the convention prize money funds.

The election brought in new enthusiasm with a great bunch of people who are ready to steer this ship.

Collectively, the NTA has endured some pretty rough seas over the past couple of years, but many held on tight and now there is nothing but calm and peaceful waters ahead.

The cast of judges who have been hired for the Gatlinburg convention are excited as well, and anxious for July 2015 to get here.

A team has been established to begin working on a return of the OUTLOOK publications, and on-line newsletters.

An all out effort is being made to bring to the convention some very outstanding and much desired seminars.

People are coming back home to the NTA and that excites me a lot.

Many know that I went to the trenches as did many others and things got ugly at times. But there is nothing ugly to fear any longer.

We are in a happy place and want to encourage all to come join us.

We are a family of friends, and that's what the NTA wants to be forever more.

We're moving forward and there is a great team assembled to ensure that forward progress.

We hope you will consider joining us in making the NTA the best assembly of taxidermists in the World.

Again, Thanks everyone, and I hope to see you ALL in Gatlinburg, Tenn. July 15-18, 2015
