GHOTW is a critique free thread where we can all gather to share wonderful work both to motivate and inspire one another.

I, like so many others, am looking forward to seeing everyone's work again this week, and what a special week it is.

So, welcome everyone to "GAME HEAD OF THE WEEK" the "Holiday Edition"... and may all of you have a blessed holiday.

    Steve

And the first shoulder mount goat I've done. All the others have been life-size.

Deer head from a fish guy... No info on antlers. I took them in on trade years ago. they're reproductions from somewhere. No clue on score, or cost to get them made.

I had a stock cape, and mounted it up. It sits in my showroom nicely.

    Form is a Mears Pedestal.
Pedestal is from Roostin Ridge Woodworks in MN. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

    Great stuff posted here...
    Keep up the good work

    Jimmy

Discount taxidermy form client brought with deer. This deer had no crown on brisket. Only have seen a few that way. I'm not to fond of this forms brisket area as it was narrow. Deer also had the longest hair I've seen in that area. I had ears back but customer had me move to this position after I sent him a pic.

I just wanted to say thanks for the compliments and I hope Everyone had a great holiday.

I also forgot to post the form used on the Flehmen buck at the top of the thread, so for those asking, it was a McKenzie 6400 head up.

Here's another, an OTS semi sneak.
