That's awesome!! I have a bull elk that has a very similar third antler. Didn't even notice it when shot it.
Very nice!!! I killed one with a third pedicle, odd one almost in the middle of the forehead. My taxidermist said he'd been mounting deer for 40 years and that was only the second one he'd ever seen!
In unicorn goats, the horn buds are moved to the center of the head before horn growth starts and it grows as normal. Perhaps, in a similar way, these deer had trauma at a young age that shifted part of the pedicle downward or towards the middle of the skull, causing a third antler.
I just finished cleaning a whitetail with one more positioned more toward the middle of forehead. Its pretty cool.

I mounted one last year that had 4 unicorn points. Really weird.
