Picture's a little dark, but looks great from what I can see! I like the ear set!

Too much shadow on the face to give anything good. Turn it around with the sun at it's face.

  5. Let's give these a try. :)

  11. Nice looking mount. To me it looks like the antlers are set a little high and back. I think the high antler set brought your ears up too high as well. Look at this photo (posted by Glen in the reference section) and note where the ear opening is in relation to the eye.

That is very good, and like someone said, tweak the ear position, a little more definition in them. Overall very impressive for a third mount. :)

Ok I have seen several times where you guys say the antlers are 2 far back.
I can see it on some the all the deer I get in I measure from tip of nose to tip of tines and that is the way I set them back and some of them look like they are to far back but some deer just look that way.

Very nice for your third mount. :)

To answer moongast01 about setting antler's. Measuring from the back of your antler burr's to the tip of the nose will give you much more accurate measurement than corner of eye or tip of tine to nose. As long as you keep in mind to follow the plane of the bridge of the nose with the bases of your antlers's all your other measurements will fall into place.

  18. i tried to brighten these photos...hope this helps... :)

  19. Thanks for the comments, much appreciated.
