I recently finished my first (and last) gator but I'm finding that the Kastaway rub on paint is still coming off. I've given this gator SEVERAL coats of clear acrylic but no luck is "sealing" the rub-on paint. It has been several weeks and I can still rub it off.

What am I doing wrong?? Do I need to spray more acrylic on it....add mod podge....I'm confused.

    THANKS

Not sure what you are doing wrong except maybe your drying? If you seal the rub on paints with a good clear then that clear is what protects those colors. If you don't seal it properly then you could wipe the colors off. I have my gator from the World Show in 2009 and still to this day you could wipe off a rub on color if you tried. Good Luck!

Maybe I'm just using "bad" clear. I will try a different product
