Has the site slowed down

It has only been slow for about a week here. Long enough to drive me nuts. lol
We have had DSL long enough to spoil us good.

 

I was told that the banners and such are coded to load after the text, so you can read the page while the loading completes. I don't think that is the problem.

 

I'm having dial-up flashbacks it's so slow. Ken PLEASE help us.

 

It's slow here too. Same deal as George...30 seconds or so to open a thread at times

This site is so slow today, that it is like watching Golf on TV.

 

Turtle slow the past couple of days. At times when I try to open an ad- just the sales banner pops up. Today has been the worst.

Why oh why is it so?

 

I got a download prompt (pop-up)from some adult website disk cleaner program while on this site yesterday. Right after that I saw that they had a banner ad on this site. Did they buy space here or did they hack it? The site is probably slow because it is installing spyware (hackers) on our computers.

 

Now today, I can zip around the pages here, but sign off and on is super slow, a minute. Yesterday the whole site was slow.
