I was finally able to track down a long horn cow skull to make a mount out of and i have done other mounts before, but this is the first time i have had a skull with a hole in the skull. It is about the size of a .30 cal bullet because the butcher uses an air gun to put the cow down. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fill the hole? In the end the bone will be clear coated because of the style of mount im going to make so the fix doesn't have to be perfect but as close as possible. Thank You.

Epoxy clay, just mix up a small ball in about the size of the hole, stick it in, and smooth it out.

Epoxy sculpt, Bondo with the white catalyst, etc.
