  1. No radio or tv. We are all family members working together so we are too busy telling stories and laughing while we work.
  2. One exception to no tv rule...if we are working saturday during college football season we listen to the Buckeyes win. :)

Old saying, "silence is golden" tried listening to music over the years but I'm an old rocker and keep wanting to plug in guitar and not work, so I have adapted to working in silence, I get a lot more done that way!

Music, TV news or talk radio would just get me angry. Anger leads to a shortage of patience and I do not need that.

One of the sites I listen to is radio classics like Dragnet, The Whistler, Yours Truly, Our Miss Brooks, etc.

You can search for many old shows.

Sirius/XM for me....surprised nobody else mentioned it.
I couldnt get am/fm radio in my shop, so I got the Sirius/XM about 4 years ago, I like it alot.
  8. I have Sirius in both vehicles , but don't need it in the shop with the various free radio apps!

Classic rock radio for the most part. I don't get TV, but I play DVDs and listen to them, be it movies or taxidermy videos. When I listen to CDs, it's all over the board. The Ramones, Switchblade Symphony, Metallica, Souxsie and the Banshies, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Janis Joplin, Mozart, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, any Italian opera, Harry Connick JR, Steve Vai, blue man group, The Dead Kennedy's, George Jones, and on and on. I have thousands of CDs. Political talk radio makes me so angry that I can't work at all.
