    Just tried the lay method tonight and I think I'm going to do it from now on

    The lay method will work but imo makes getting the upper eyelashes set in a downward angle may be a struggle......I did to the lay method many moons ago...

    I did have a little trouble with upper eyelids next time I may leave very little eye skin to tuck to get the lashes downward

    take your molding tool and push the top of the eye skin up. the laches will point down. adjust as you go.

    can someone explain the lay method for those of us that do not know it?

    I've never had trouble getting the eye lashes to point down with the lay method. I use my fingernail to adjust them the second day.

    your not taking the extra skin from the eye and tucking it under the clay around the eye of the form. your just laying the skin of the eye over the glass eye. gluing it of coarse.
