    Pukeko mounted on a photo that I took on the Westcoast of NZ, framed with ancient swamp Kauri wood, the oldest workable wood in the world.

    Hello all, looks like BOTM is off to a good start. I am so glad things are picking up.Thanks to Brooke for getting BOTM rolling.

    Brooke nice looking bluebill and mallard. Keep up the good work.

  12. Superb work. And besides the inspiration they give, there is for me, another dimension; the great bases and dioramas that seem to accompany the birds shown on this informative thread. I have realised more than from any other thread, the value of 'less is more, more is less' when it comes to habitat/ diorama. Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks! The hen was PRIIME!! Super fat and only a few breeding pin feathers on her neck. She was definitely a joy to mount. The drake on the other hand was a C- , One year old with horrible belly and breast feathers. Got to work with what you got though.:D

    Spencer. ..Awesome mount. I wish I had that Client.
