Does anyone know where to get bearings for a Dakota IV other than McKenzie/Van Dykes? From what I have been trying to look into you have to replace the assembly at a cost of $130.00. The machine does the job for a hobbyist like me but that seems excessive. I think I would invest in something better before I shelled out that kind of money for this fifteen year old unit (which really does not have all that much use)
  2. Get the numbers off the bearings and you can buy them at most bearing supply stores. You may need a press to get them off and back on and use your freezer when putting them back together.

  3. You might try these.....

Thanks Dakota Hills! That is what I need. Now if I can just find the clips that hold them on I will be all set! When I get it all disassembled I will try an auto parts store.
