Open Letter to John Creager, Mitch Webb and NTA - BOD's

Discussion in 'The Taxidermy Industry' started by John Janelli, Jul 14, 2015.

  1. Hell yea! Right on the money!

Might I add they have black history month, black miss america, black rodeo, just a few off the top of my head. My point is, if there was enough black taxidermist don't think they wont make a black NTA, and not one dam person on this sight would be welcome .
I can see it now NNTA. National Negro Taxidermist Association.

Unfortunately for any bigots, there are ethics involved in the NTA. We even have an Ethics Committee. As a Life Member #00078 I would like this addressed. If Mr. Creager is Innocent he should say so. Not just that he can't find it on his site. If I were accused of this I would ask for proof to be displayed on this site. Than the accuser can apologize or resign if he can't provide proof. Let's clear this up.

You may want to sit this one out TONY. According to your own words a weak ago ethics is just a word. Or does that only apply when your wallet is connected?

Tony, I don't think you "miss stated" anything. How can anyone take the statement "ethics is just a word" any other way. Plus you had plenty of time on the last thread to clarify such a "miss statement" but you didn't. Now when you are "instructing" the rest of us here on another thread somehow you expect to have credibility?????????? That's what you didn't "get" about the last thread. You can work ethically for decades and with a couple of keystrokes of someone else POOF no more credibility. Maybe you will take "ethics" a little more seriously next time. and quit worrying about siding up to a girl with fame and money.

As for calling you out, I'll be right here ready to do it again. I feel I have an ethical responsibility to do so. You can call me anytime too. You can come visit me. Anything I say here is just the same as I would say looking you right in the eye. My ethics don't change with the presentation source.

What you guys don't understand is that Ethical is just a word You said it Jerry, a person that hunts legally is Ethical. Allis does taxidermy period. She doesn't turn work away because the animals were hunted, but she would turn it away if it were taken illegally. If a taxidermist advertises his or her business as "Award winning " or "the Best" or "Second to none" Are they saying the rest of us do crappy work. I hope not. Let's try to not get carried away with a word. A word she chooses to help promote her business.
I have no problem was tony said,i think he make a good point.

Tri State, you are a hypocrit. You stated in other post that you didn't attack anyone personally. You have made ,this personal. I am 69 years old and I think I ,could still put ,you ,over my knee. You ,say ,I have no creditability. Are you a child? What is your education? You probably could be a good guy, but you have no manners. Tonight when you are sitting in your trailer watching Seinfeld re-runs think about it. What I stated in this thred was a general comment about biggots. If you fit that mold than live with it, and own it. I know what ethics is and you, in my opinion and others here, from my pm's , HAVE NONE

    " Allis does taxidermy period."

That is incorrect magicmick. Allis, along with others, specifically market themselves on a national platform as being ethical taxidermists because their businesses are based on non-hunted trophies. I know you along with Tony would like to ignore this but it ain't going away.

As for the comparison you give it is apples and oranges. Quality of work and talent can be debated until the sun blacks out. Allis and Tony, WITH THE AID OF ANTI-HUNTERS, are specifically defining ethics as hunting vs. non-hunting.

    Tony,

I have not attacked you personally. I have attacked YOUR SPECIFIC WORDS. If you can not handle the consequences of your own language maybe it is best you don't speak. With your latest post you have decided to destroy any shred of credibility which you may have had. As for manners, I HAVE ONLY TOLD YOU THE TRUTH. I can remember a man once told me if I wanted to annoy people, lie to them. If I wanted to see someone get furious just tell them the truth.

John Creager, you're such an habitual liar that it's not even pathetic anymore. Obviously my facebook account must have been hacked too. My post was removed just like yours was. Hmmm! To be certain however, there was no vote in that ''executive meeting" (more like a defense council for the accused) and assuredly there was NO ORAL REPREMAND. You, Mitch and Jim acted like a bunch of freightend little school children when Mr. Ameirca threw his wait around that room. We have the recorded CD of that session. And if I ever make it back to the north eastern state who was so embarassed by that inexcusable behavior, they will know full well what kind of cover up it truly was.

    Now, right from the page of face book, lets get back to the siutation that our newly disgraced board member is failing so miserably at denying;

Jd Creager Those n*****s can go f*** themself.

John Janelli Mr. Creager, you are a board member of the National Taxidermists Association. How will you will face the African American NTA members, vendors and their families after what you just posted above? NO! I don't like your hateful racist words when you represent a national organization in an industry that is just now leaving behind a generation of extreme racists such as yourself. You disappoint me more and more with each passing day as a leader, an American and even more so, a US Veteran.

Jd Creager They obviously have never been to Stone Mountain, sand blasting would hardly touch it. If they had any dea of how it was built. Next will be Mt Rushmore.

TRI STATE, when you question my credibility you are making it personal. Personally I don't think much of you or your misspoken use of the English language. In my opinion you are a low life POS and that's that. Now that's the truth so get furious.

    Tony,

you have to have credibility before your "truth" and insults could bother me. I'm not going to call you names or talk about educations or threaten you with what I think I could do to you physically. I am not intimidated by men on a computer throwing a tantrum because the light finally shined on their world. You can't defend your position on marketing "ethical taxidermy" so you figure your last hope is to call me names and threaten people. Now I see why you didn't understand ethics is more than a word.

As usual, John, when you are called out on an issue, you try to deflect the spotlight by making false accusations against others. With regard to your statement that the minutes of the July 2013 meeting were never submitted and therefore never approved:

    Subject: NTA minutes

Attached are the minutes from the July meeting.

If the minutes were never given to the board or voted on for approval, that is no fault of mine or John's.

In addition, we have bent over backwards to assist the board members and officers after our terms expired. Everything that was requested of us was given to the NTA. As a matter of fact, last year I boxed up numerous cartons of ALL NTA records in my possession and sent them to the then Executive Director. So yes, John, the NTA does have every document, bank statement, report, etc. that I ever prepeared in my dual role of Secretary/Treasurer.

George The older I get, the better I was.

ENOUGH ALREADY! For years I've pissed into the wind just HOPING that some day enough adults would join a national association to provide a better learning platform. Instead we've attracted equal numbers of prima donna's and gamers. At what point do any of you understand that humans often don't interact well. Taxidermists, especially, don't play well with others. In fact there are many of us who wouldn't piss on certain people if I found them on fire. Most of us do, but the PROFESSIONALS know that sometimes, just walking away is the better thing to do. We we aspire and attain a certain level, we understand that our own personal "give a damn" attitude is a direct reflection of the organization we serve rather than a display of our own personal ignorance. That just plain sucks sometimes, but that's the real world that PROFESSIONALS live in. The very LAST thing any of you need to be talking about is "ethics", especially when you have no idea what the word means. "Ethics" is how you act when no one is watching you. My ethics have nothing to do with YOUR ethics until you and I decide to loan our names to a bigger organization. Then there becomes times that PROFESSIONAL people watch where they fleck their bladders.

Though the point is missed here, NORMAL people can see on this post just how polarizing something like this post can be. "Hooray for our side" is the rejoinder that's always at the heart of this.

I would chide both John C and JJ for having escalated this simple assed dislike for each other into a public forum at a time when the very lifeblood of the organization hangs in the balance with the National Convention. The hard and stark truth is that when I walk into that Gatlinburg arena, 99.99% of the people there couldn't give a good damn what you two/four/dozen think about each other. You're not making any points anywhere and if nothing else, you're keeping good people who might have been on the cusp to financially helping our organization with their registration and entry fees just to decide they don't need the drama and soap opera seemingly going on there. It has nothing to do with political correctness. It has to do with people coming to a convention for a working vacation and to enjoy some time with their family.

Recently, it seems that this becomes the time of year to self-destruct. Just when it seems things are looking up, some nitwit goes and shoots themselves in the foot. It would seem that having done that more than once would have gotten the point across. Civil people would reflect on the mistake and make sure there was an empty chamber under the hammer. Taxidermists? OH HELL NO! You think "I need to get another bullet in that chamber." Just knock off the bullship. Most of us have tired of the replays.

I concur with what George said ;)

I have a dream that taxidermist* will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the tan of their choice, but by the content of their character.

We sure have run the full gambit on this one haven't we? Two fights going at the same time. Thanks George for your comments. I personally don't have a dog in this fight so I was staying out of it. I would not join the NTA years ago for another reason but now after all this public display of pure nonsense I'm glade I didn't.

I got an idea for the NTA, clean house and everyone step out of there position. If they "really care" about TAXIDERMY and development of the organization this would be done. However, all this slandering and bashing each other does is DESTROY THE ONCE GREAT ORGANIZATION and the chance of rebuilding. I asked a highly influential NTA member why I should join the NTA a few years ago at our state show. I thought there may be a slight chance of change, needless to say I'm glad I didn't join. I hope that one day the right things will be done to fix this once great organization but I have a feeling it will be many many years down the road.
