    What a memorable Show in Maine at the Maine Association of Taxidermy Convention!!

    What a class show and Class members! I want to first and foremost thank the membership for allowing me to be a part of the Northern New England Championships! It was my personal and professional pleasure to be a part of such a memorable event down to Maine! They had a bit of Hollywood in our industry’s very own taxidermist Russell Knight! Many motivated folks from other Association all over New England, New York, and Even our great friends from Canada showed up to partake in the festivities! So many seminars and just some truly incredible talent there at this event!

    A great line up of Judges and seminar instructor gave all they have to give and pout their souls out to help with the betterment of the industry by giving back! It was my please to work and judge with Vincent Fleming from NC , George Dante from NJ, and the “Godfather” Richard Christoforo from MA! Thanks you for sharing your gifts with all of us!

    Congratulations once again to the all the participants and members who make the show a great time! Some times when folks win or loss if you the good ones hold their head up either way with class! All those who partake in a event like this one, you are a winner for sure! Also a big shout out to the officers and directors who volunteer their time to make it a great event for sure!

    The Maine show was GREAT ! Lot's of good work and good show management and a GREAT location. Many young first time to a show taxidermists , that had amazing work. Thank you all, Paul, Todd, Jeff , Pete , Tom , Danna and all the board and all the wives that helped their husbands do such a good job.
    My wife had a great time and thanks everyone also especially the women who were very friendly and she enjoyed their company.
    It was great seeing Gene Bahr and Forrest Hart again !
    See you next year.

    Looks like a great show!! I hope to attend this show one day. The stingray caught my eye -- very cool!

    Looks like a great show. We are really looking forward to having you at the Iowa show next year Rick. Tons of our members are pumped to have you judge their fish! I need to talk psycho into bringing some of his reptile art for you too. That stingray is awesome, beautiful piece.

    It was definitely a memorable show this year. Thanks to Rick, Vincent, Richard, George and Russell for making the show! Congratulations to Rick for receiving the MAT Distinguished Service Award and Richard for receiving McKenzie Service Award. Also Congrats to Forest Hart and Gene Bahr for being the first inductees into the MAT Hall of Fame!

    Thank you, Rick! We could have never pulled off a show of this caliber without people like you our other judges and special guests. What made the show so special to me was the family friendly atmosphere. There was such a warmth in the air of caring and sharing of ideas and concepts. The round robin with the Russell, Richard, George, Vincent and you Rick was by far one my favorite parts of the show. It reminded me of a late night with David letterman TV show. Thank you to our awesome vendors and support from HQ taxidermy supply. Justin, Randy and Vic work extremely hard at the show and brought out a whole new dimension to our Maine show. I hope everyone had safe travels home and big thank you to out members with over 90 show entrees. I know we all learned a ton.

    Just wanted to give a shout out to Paul and the whole BOD ! From start to finish, you guys did a fantastic job ! Russell and the judges all did a great job as well! Cant wait until next year, Bill D
