When is the NTA website re-launch?

Discussion in 'The Taxidermy Industry' started by Alan889, Sep 3, 2015.

  1. Consider scrapping the bloated website template and doing away with the goofy picture slider. Hopefully the 2015 show pictures and results can be posted yet this year.

  2. Just spent $4300.00 designing the new website in the past year. That is 66 plus annual membership fees.

Now Senor Zorro, you need not embellish such things. The website design costs a total of 2400.00 Not 4300.00. Additionally, the website was instrumental in selling out the convention booth space, not once, but twice. It also contributed to new membership growth of well over 250 new members. At slightly over 2.00 per member and the potential of many more to come I would say that was money well spent.

To Alan H. With all the resignations, departures and reassignments within the NTA board, the first order of business concerning the website was to secure and backup all the data so none of it was lost or destroyed. That has been accomplished. The second order of business is to start revising the site. The slider is the first thing to go. Updates of the 2015 convention needs added to the site. Membership status's were not being properly attended to. That too needs some attention. There is a new webmaster who intends to make the website more navigational. We appreciate your input and are working on the points of your concern.
  4. I am not Zorro so bark up another tree on that one.

Yes the website did cost $4300.00 and how do you sell out all the booths twice and still have empty booths at the convention. Yes it was $4300.00 and you do have to include the other things you added on, and were ran through on Mitche's Debit card. You hassled the web master enough they quit. So there are also other expenses finding a new host etc.

less than 900 members and you are claiming that over 250 0f those are new??? Dream on!!!!

Sorry you got blamed for my posts Creager. Didn't mean to get you accused of more BS.

Tim is good at double dealing. That's an important survival skill in prison. The sad part is that anyone who calls this house out on their fraud gets tossed out of the Casino no matter what the aftermath will be. I will just have to laugh when Tim is left high and dry himself.
