2015-2016 Bird Hunting Season

A nice opening day in Los Banos, Ca this season. Was the best duck hunt Ive ever experienced hands down.

 

The little girls first ever deer hunt 3 weeks ago. She got her first deer with me, I was happier than she was.

 

Her dads first deer on the same day with me. It was a small buck but Im not sure who was happier, daddy or the daughter. That hunt will make my whole season.

 

A decent buck I shot 4 weeks back in VA. I missed a pieblad just 10 mins before it. Id say 90 percent white. My buddy shot it last week.

 

And a few of these critters this past weekend.

Yes sir for sure. Meant more to me than my first deer. Happy hunting fellas

 

Opening morning all drake limit. Never killed anything but wood ducks off of this lease. Hope to have plenty more to gift out this year.

 

Also had a fun but God-awful hot dove opener on a peanut lease a few weeks ago.

 

Nice shoots MFL. I have a buddy, Will Campbell, who lives and hunts in Jacksonville.

 

Had a blast in South Dakota with my two awesome springers Bull and Lexie. Those dogs can root them out of the thick stuff! 8)

 

Beautiful pheasants! On my to get list for sure. Pretty dogs as well.

 

Gave the ducks a break. Youngest wanted to try hog hunting with the crossbow. First group we got on had one of the biggest boars we've ever seen. Perfect shot at 20 yards.




Added a big doe for some sausage.


Back to the ducks in the morning.

 

Nice. Been ducking in the mornings here and trying for deer in the eve. Unseasonably warm and a bit slow the last few days.
Did manage a pair though.
