No Sir, It's back swimming. Makes for a better story I think. I already have one mounted that was a little bigger and caught on a lighter rod some years back.

At 80 degrees and endless amounts of water, we have virtually n ducks around.

Luckily one farm is still holding enough wigeons to go 1x/week.

Nice black. Headed down to Flordia to see some family. Ended up hooking up with 2 locals to do some hunting. After some work and jump shooting I got my pair of mottled ducks and a decent blue wing. Also gifted another drake for a buddy. Hunting was slow with the heat but a good trip.

That's awesome.weird how a band on a duck can make some of us feel so happy.I'm on cloud 9 for at least a week after shooting a banded bird.your bro must be proud as hell.congrats to him man.thanks for sharing.

  19. GLASS EYE is an extremely generous man! He took me and a buddy out last weekend, and we had a very good time. I can't say enough good things about him and his friend. I only wish I could someday re-pay him. We got canvasbacks, cinnamon teal, green wings, a shoveler, mallards, and gadwall. We saw scaup, ruddys, a drake hooded merganser, even a rare pintail. It was a blast. Breck, I want you to know how much I appreciate your time! Thank you.
