Beautiful Cans Glass Eye! Finally had to break down and go to the weather for the birds. Drove over to Pensacola and it was all I could ask for in a diver hunt. 30 degrees and 20+ winds. Easy pickins for the drakes when they just stop in that strong of winds.

Been struggling to get on birds this year. 300 miles of scouting last week and we out together a good weekend. We only shot limits 1/4 days.

Before you ask- I had 4 collector/taxidermy nuts hunting so every mount quality bird skin left here in a ziplock...,,

Wigeons were the desired targets and we found a few dandies.

I'm gonna have to make that FL trip. Need to check a couple of those off the 410 list.

I pray for 80 degrees and a string south wind at the end of our season every year and we got it the last 5 days. It brings all the pretties up from the coast.

Check mark on the 410 list.

I know this is tame stuff compared to you real duck hunters but I squeezed out a few more woodies, a couple hooded mergs and a couple wood cock through the end of the season here. Mostly national forest land beaver swamps, flooded timber and a pile of walking. We had a pile of rain here the past two months and there was water everywhere.

There Glass eye you fixed it for me any one have a nice Blue wing teal drake in plumage to gift, you will not get me to duck hunt down there i would be watching the water not the sky. Plus i don't think i could pack enough clean underwear in my shell bag to last a day out there,
