I have a customer who shot a buck the day after an ice storm and wants to have ice on the antlers. I was wondering if anyone has done this before and what they used

  2. one option is to use Glaze Coat from Lowe's; mix a little up and put on with a small paint brush, you can put a little on top but not too much unless you want he whole antler covered.

These antlers had about a quarter of an inch of ice on them completely coated

Parks super glaze from Home depot. Let it get kinda thick. It will self level, so you'll have to chase the drips. You can add salt to it if you want "frosty" looking ice.

Play on a scrap antler first!

Another option might be the Artificial Water the suppliers sell. You can pour thin sheets, then use a heat gun to wrap it and shape it on the antler.

Play on a scrap antler first.

Post a pic of the dead derr, and let us know how it turned out and how you did it !
