Is bondo strong enough to hold moose sheds to a shoulder form?

I have never pinned a moose but done plenty of elk and have not had any problems so I am sure it would work. Make sure you let the bondo completely harden and use a good release agent. I use valeline. Check out some tutorials on this site.

I would add some fiberglass resin to the mix, will make it harder and easier to pour down the skull plate and form.

I do mine with cast-all or fantastic cast, they work great

JB Weld; it's made to adhere to metal. Let it set up overnight. Stronger than Bondo.

  6. Forget Bondo. Mix up some fiberglass resin, add dry mâché until you get the consistency you want. Strongest mix you can get.
