Moose nasal cavity removal

    Hi any tips for removing cartalige out of a moose nasal cavity? Simmered the skull and pressure washed but still cant get the stuff thats back in the skull out.

    You can try to use forceps or long tweezers and pick at it but that will be about it. It's too late to rot it out now after it's been boiled. Best you can do is degrease it as best you can and then whiten it well. If you get enough peroxide into the nasal area long enough it will lighten the material in there and it will dry a lighter color. It still will be an attractant for insects though.
