Deer hide tanning for beginner

    Hello,
    I am all new to taxidermy and want to know how to tan a deer hide, hair on, as far as reccomended tanning solutions and procedures, as well as any tips. I would like to produce a hide with an end result of being soft and supple, and with no hair slippage. I've read up on the topic of tanning and watched videos only to find myself more confused then before I started researching, any help is appreciated.

    Here is the method that I use, of course I do not go in to the breaking it in for the soft supple tan because I mount the capes
