beginning bird taxidermy - duck, pheasant, pigeon, starling, etc.

  1. I've been preparing birds as study skins for my university's museum for a few years now and I'm looking to learn to mount birds. I'm interested in just about anything - ducks, pheasants, partridge, pigeons, starlings, sparrows - as long as it's mountable (either flying or standing) and each bird isn't more than ~$25 (I'm a poor graduate student). I've got a lot of experience working with birds that have been in the freezer forever (oldest was a penguin in freezer for 29 years) so I'd be happy to take birds that have been lying around taking up freezer space. E-mail me at [email protected] Thanks!
