Interesting skull website

    By coincidence, I found this highly interesting and educational website:

    It shows an array of different mammal skulls by family, often even differentiating subspecies. Many animals are appearantly from zoos.
    Interesting to Note: -The skull of the persian leopard ( panthera pardus saxicolor) may actually be a snow leopard.

    That kodiak bear ( ursus arctos middendorffi) is worth a Look as it looks quite anomalous.

    Something is not at all right about that one. Possibly pathological .. but with what? Reminds me more of the cave bear Ursus ingressus.

    Great website!

    That leopard is screwed up. I don't THINK it is a snow leopard, but the face is certainly too short. The coolest part is the massive infection. I've never seen that much remodeling in the nasal cavity.
