Awesome Tomh, we need details. Carcass cast? Wrapped body? Carved body?
It's carcass cast from the carcass that was frozen in position. I still did a lot of alteration on the form afterwards, because I wasn't happy with the position. I made artificial hooves. Actually not quite realistic, because the little pig had apparently died during birth, before ever standing on its feet. But I'm still happy with the outcome.
Brian, your cats poses are amazing! I love all of them
Tomh, great piglet. You gave him realy natural look. Congrats
Here's a lil' gray fox with nice dark colors in a resting pose.
Wow!! That gray looks alive!!! Nice job.
It's been so long since I stopped in and got to post. I think I'm skinning in my sleep... Anyway it's a terrible cell phone shop pic but hey I wanted to share. Couple cats drying..
Here's a recent cat I did for the WVDNR
great looking cat matt
I like how the cat is just on a pedestal base.
I like that cat, Matt. I'm a big fan of less habitat, more contemporary style base work.
Here's a bobcat from Washington, for a customer in Kentucky. Wrapped as always.
Wow ! A bunch of great work !
Excellent work everyone! Hers one for me. Merry Christmas!!
Not a great pic, this one just recently went home. First attempt at a habitat rock base.
A recent wall hung cat mount on a lancaster form .
great stuff, perfect point amy, the base should compliment the mount and not be the focal point....
Wow Codi that bobcat looks amazing!
