looking for a cow shoulder form

Discussion in 'Deer and Gameheads' started by wildbydesign2015, Dec 28, 2015.

  1. I'm planning on mounting a life size Holstein calf and a wall pedestal type holstein cow. Just wondering if anyone has ever mounted a domestic cow and what forms are the easiest to start with. Thanks:)
  2. I have mounted a couple van dykes should have what you need.

  3. Ok thanks, did you just use a longhorn form?

Mounting a holstein on a longhorn or other beef cattle bull form would be like mounting a caribou on an elk form. Holstein and longhorns are both cattle, and caribou and elk are both deer, but they are each different from the other. Be ready for a lot of alteration on the form.
  6. Yeah that's what I'm pretty much figuring on, but hopefully a shoulder form would at least give me sort of a canvas to start from lol. Thanks for the input
