Wallaby skulls are on ebay for $30

    There are some wallaby skulls on ebay now from Atlantic Coral Supply for about $30 if anyone else wants one. I just bought one.. Looks like most need some degreasing.

    Here's the one I got. Do you think ammonia soak and then peroxide will clean it up ok?

    Ammonia won't hurt so go ahead and give it a try. Their skulls have all been boiled clean so you might want to consider a soak in paraloid B-72 when it is done and dry.

    Should I try 3% peroxide for a day after ammonia?

    You could. If that is a rust stain though, you might find that a short soak in Iron out will remove it. If the Iron Out gets it, rinse it out well and dry then seal. I have found that a soak in peroxide brings back the stains that the Iron Out removes.

    Try several weeks at least.
