To protect my glass and plastic eyes from overspray I usually use Van Dyke's "Eye Protect" product. I ran out and I'm in a pinch for time. Is there anything I can use instead that will do the same job that I might be able to get my hands on quicker?

I don't use anything, but won't modge podge do the same thing?

  3. I have used vaseline in the past, it works but you have to be careful cleaning it up. I use lacquer thinner although I don't know if this would be good for plastic.

A thin coat of dish soap, straight from the bottle.

dont use anything. Paint the eye and clean with lacquer thinner or a scalpel if the eye is glass. touch up around the eye with a small artist brush
