I was wanting to get a new fleshing knife. What would be the best knife for me to buy?
I have used Chicago cultery Wooden handle steak knives for years... 4 for about $20 online
I use a victorinox fibrox handled 6" fillet knife, I have two and have probably 500+ deer on the first one, haven't used the second one much, just keep it around in case I misplace my main one. Easily sharpened and hold an edge well
I use a draw knife from Research Mannikins. I bought it in 1987 and have sharpened it once and use a steel to hone the edge ever since and it stays very sharp.
