    I have a. Few deer in the house from years passed that do not have tag s with them any more. What's the rules on. This. (Indiiana)

    Rules vary state to state, but generally, they would be considered your own personal deer and tags are no longer needed once the animals are in your home - or final destination.

    In my State we have to have a paper trail on EVERYTHING. Even if it is grandpas old antler mount. Don't go by advice that could get you a ticket of a fine. Know the laws from your State, look them up so you know first hand, NEVER go by second hand info when it comes to laws.
     
  4. Do take a chance, call your state wild life and fisheries. In my state after the tag will stay with the deer until it is processed and then the tag is validated and can be thrown away.
