  1. Scratch that pic. I meant to post a pic of the fish further in the process but obviously posted the same one I posted a few days ago. My apologies. I will try this again lol.

Den 007 great looking fish and display case, is that more than just a picture in the background or does it wrap around and over.

Thanks guys, glad you like the Steelhead!

Here's a 38" Albacore Tuna replica I just finished glossing today. The blank is from Rick Hardy:

And since I'm pimping Rick Hardy blanks, here's a 66" Goliath Grouper replica finished last year using one of his replica blanks:

I really hate posting after Uncle Dave. His stuff is off the charts. Here is a crappie replica stringer I molded years ago. Three of them are 18" +.

Great fish thus far, Lets not lose momentum!

Here's a lake trout, or touge as they call them here in Maine. Custom mold and cast 34 inches 17.5 lbs.

There's a brown overall tint to the fish that isn't coming through well in pictures, he was almost black as a boot on the top 3rd of the fish. Most of the lakers here look nothing like the silvery blue ones in that I was used to seeing in the great lakes. Some are dark dark brown almost black all throughout.

Also lovin the customer pic with the 'eye, Jimmy.

    And the char reconstruction, insane.

Your master series is always superb Dave.

Another great month all. Thanks for inspiring me again!

That walleye is the superb result of all of the skills it takes to mount a real fish. What a thoroughly beautiful job. Congrats Steve!!!!

Thanks for all the super nice words about that Steelhead, guys. I don't get to put lots of time into paint on every fish because not everyone places a higher value on their fish mounts like a few do. I think I've got several of those at the level of paint like the Steelhead from earlier this month scheduled yet, but in the meantime I'm back to my every day backlogged hack work, LOL.

Speaking of everyday work, here's a Steelhead finished last week - it's a 38" replica of a Cowlitz River, WA hatchery fish using one of my blanks:

And here's a fish finished just this week, a 36.75" x 23" Brown Trout replica from a central Oregon lake:
