oklahoma whitetail

  1. I have a Oklahoma whitetail to mount. I don't mount a lot of them but when I do I always fight with the huge heads. what form will get you close and is a good form for bigger frame deer. I appreciate the help

    Measure and then get as close as possible with a form. Once you have the form fit the hide onto it and make alterations if necessary and they usually are.

    That's because your used to those thin faced Texas deer, LOL. I'm sure Okie deer are no bigger then Ill., Michigan, Maine deer,. OTS, 6900 series McKenzie, some Mears, Revolution all have nice full heads for large deer.

    All I mount is oklahoma deer. Measure and pick out a form. Like paul said, they are way slimmer than midwest deer. I've used about every brand of form out there on them and had no problems.
